OUR STORY
I grew up on a citrus farm in Edinburg, Texas, surrounded by the South Texas brush country — mesquite, ebony, cactus, and some of the best wildlife habitat in the world. My father, uncle, and the men they ran with were deeply involved in the wildlife industry, guiding hunters and helping ranches with seasonal operations long before it became an organized profession.
As a kid, that life was normal.
Fishing the Laguna Madre.
Chasing quail, dove, and whitetails through thornscrub.
Working citrus, cattle, and whatever land needed tending.
If we weren’t hunting, we were fixing something, improving something, or learning something about the land.
Those early years changed everything for me.
They taught me work ethic, respect for wildlife, and the kind of land stewardship that only comes from spending your days outdoors instead of indoors. That carried into college, where I spent seasons guiding hunts, helping camps with wildlife management, and learning more about how ranches actually operate behind the scenes.
Today, that same passion guides every project we take on. From the deep South Texas brush to the rolling terrain of North Texas, the core purpose is the same:
